I have about 4-5 friends of mine who are in High School like I am and can't find work. Two of my friends are looking for work to help their parents out of financial issues. And the other 3 are looking for work to help pay for college. I am in both boats and want to help my parents out and get some money saved up for college. But time is running out... All of my friends know almost nothing about IM but are eager to learn. I however have been messing with it for the past 3 years. Just recently I started to get more serious with it by learning some YT + PPD. So far I'm making a few bucks here and there off of one video, but I plan on making more videos in the near future.

So my question is: How do I make money with a few friends together as a team?

I was thinking about them helping me with YT + PPD and split the earnings. But it seems like a one person job anyways. Then I was thinking about them starting their own and I help them out, but I don't want to compete against them and only have one of us be successful.

So I was wondering if there are any methods that would be good for a team or group of people to work with together? I'm open to anything!

    Thank you,
    Tim Johnson

You could all diversify into similar niches and have all of you work on videos, or work on videos in teams. You could output them much faster than 1 person alone. You could also research a good niche and run some affiliate links through it. 5 people could easily create quality content for a website if you put some time into it.

There's tons of methods and journeys you could read here at BHW that will get you started.

Honestly, every time I think about working with people I come to the conclusion that doing everything on my own (aside from outsourcing) is better. Mainly because I can't put any faith into other peoples expertise, foresee arguments over payments etc etc. You get a lot done more quickly but that also means you have to divide your revenue between 4-5 people so eh.

You can work as a team in almost anything. You can do it with YT & PPD, just do it on a massive scale so you won't have to compete against each other and still make a lot of money.

Maybe have some kind of agreement where you split the pay 40/30/30 since you're going to have to teach them how to do it. They're getting free lessons and getting paid at the same time so it's only fair.

Also to keep your team organized you might want to each sign up with Trello, it'll help you see your teams progress and have each of you responsible for what they have to do.

You could do various jobs like content writing, account creations on web 2.0s, you can open a fiverr gig and distribute flyer at busy places advertising, you can buy some seo tools and provide services in fiverr, depending on how much you can spend - you can have your own website, you can do ppd with youtube, etc etc..

I also hope your friends are patient, because you're going to have to constantly reassure their bitch asses if you're starting from the ground up, and they're probably going to think you're scamming them if they're working hard and not seeing any pay.

I would definitely do something like this.

Once you find what works and what's earning you money, you dedicate a certain "job" to one of your friends and let them focus on that specific task only.

    Rinse and repeat ;)

I'm in kind of the same position. I have 2 friends who want to learn about IM, though they are not as eager about it :p I usually catch my friends playing on the Xbox instead of reading about a method that I sent them xD But I guess that you'd just do everything as normal, except that you assign different parts of the process to your friends.

Does anybody know any good SEO software? Or good software for backlinks that won't mess up my rankings? I hear good and bad things about Scrapebox. Some say it's great, some say it's terrible...

Could you recommend me some good and useful tools that could easily be worked into a fiverr gig with a reasonable price?

I have always had issues working with others. Seems like there is always one in the group that wants to be in charge and has to have their way. I do hope that this is not the case with you and your friends. I would say find something that you all have in common, and then go from there. It will not be as much fun if not everyone is into the niche.

The chances that it will work are quantifiably slim. your better of building your own income and knowledge, and when they are looking for jobs, give them a job, and make sure you can pay them. The utopia of friends getting together and working and having a great time is non existent. Since you have to actually WORK. This means no talking, no messing around. No bs.

At the age you are all your friends are pushing boundaries with their parents and what they can do in the world, so they will just make your life hell as team captain they will see you as a parent figure. Controlling, in charge etc.
