So I was wondering how I would be able to make money with a gaming blog? I've been looking into joining empower network because I hear all this hype about it but a little skeptical... If anybody has had any experiences with them could someone let me know whether it was good, or bad and why? But if I were to start with them I want to know what my options are aside from making money just with them. Also what are some good ways to promote blogs? YT, Google Ranking, Social Media? I've never really messed with blogs before. But they sound like fun and I'm passionate about gaming. So could I please get some feedback on a few of my questions? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you :)

P.S If you think this is promo for empower, you're hilarious... I've gotten people in the past claiming I've done promotion for others. I just want peoples opinions on what they think about the network before I go purchasing it and wasting money..

    @VitalityMN,
I read through your post and I know what your probably wondering:
    - If you can make money with a gaming blog?
    - Ways to promote your gaming blog?

Well the fact that you're passionate about gaming is a big plus. I also share that passion as well. Are you passionate enough to write quality content on gaming or do you plan on paying someone to write cheap, low quality content? You know that if your blog doesn't come across with passion, it will be very challenging to engage passionate gamers like me to read, tweet and like your content in the social networks. I love to write about gaming so I could definitely blog on the subject :)

Before you figure out how to make money, you got to have quality content. Hope this helps :)

Well, I haven't tried empower network but friend of mine has, he has not earned a lot but has spent a lot. Also I read some feedback from fellow forum members and usually they don't say anything good about it.
To my mind, you should read more about white hat seo or maybe search for SEO blueprints in this forum where you can learn about ranking keywords and gaining organic traffic from google, learn a bit so you can decide which method to choose for monetizing your blog. It is really good to start with a niche which is familiar to you like in this case it is gaming. Good luck and stay consistent! ;)

When I hear of empower network I tend to run away. Funny thing now is that I even wrote the name.

Yeaa I may steer away from them, thanks guys! But what are some other ways I could make some money? If I were to PPD, or CPA of some sort would that hurt my viewers? Like would the daily site members go down?

Not to knock anyone's hustle that's doing well w/ empower network, but to me it's your typical MLM plan. Multi-level marketing can work, as many have been successful, but the foundation of their structure is that a good chunk of the members are lining the pockets of people above them with their own investments into the system rather than customers. The key to being successful w/ MLM is to have a strong team, not to go at it alone. I personally am not a fan of these systems, but like I said - it can work...

Save your $500 plus. Pay yourself $20 an hour for 25 hours doing some research on some methods here

OP, all I saw was Empower Network, please don't bother with them.
You will be better off doing things on your own and using BHW when you need help.

Blooging about something you are passionate about will certainly help.

What other ways are there for me to make money with blogging? Aside from your typical Adsense.

Affilliate programs, CPI's, CPA...check out some of the CPA networks, always a good starting place. A lot easier to get an email than a sale in most cases...

Try Instagram to promote it, it's rockin' now. There's a cool free training I checked out last time. Doesn't sell anything and can help with any business

If you have a high pagerank gaming blog with good DA/SA scores, it might be a good idea to sell backlinks. I've heard that gaming blogs don't perform very well with advertisements, though. For an example, I've head that the CPC of Adsense on gaming blogs is extremely low.

I would say adsense to start with to see how it works for you, before you could move on to CPA/ Content locking.

Use social signals. Use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram to promote.
Realize though that gaming is extremely competitive and extremely saturated.
If anything, I'd recommend something with a twist to get more people like a Video Game Vlog on YouTube and monetize that. Just something a little different. Or have a niche in the video gaming industry. Like only zombie games or something like this.
Then, when you get traffic, monetize it with adsense ads or buyandsellads.
I wouldn't recommend EN as others have said though.
