SO I basically have a buddy who pays 3,000$ for advertising on a site. He only receives 2,000 visitors a month from this site. This obviously is a huge waste of money in my opinion, as organic results can produce much more traffic than that website has been providing. Now this guy isn't too tech savvy, and doesn't like much change. I would really like to prove I can provide results for him. How would I go about proving this to him on a lower end budget? Maybe buy a package or two to raise some SERPS for low comp high exact search keywords? Now if I got the job. I may invest 2k to begin with into his SEO, but over time it would be a nice stable income if I only invested 1k. He is fine with this, as long as it provides better results than his other advertiser. Now what would you invest 1k a month in? Several packages? I'm against blog networks. This really should stay panda friendly. I know I can trust bigbuddy and his packages. So maybe his mega pyramid could provide sufficient results on some good keywords. Every month I would like to bring a keyword or two to the top for him if I do get the job. Maybe some EDU links mixed with some other packages I have found to be very useful. Anyways, Im really just looking for some tips and suggestions on how I could go about proving to him that I will increase his traffic! I know raising the SERPS will provide some great results. His site is fairly aged and is already a PR2 site. Linkbuilding shouldnt provide any penalties as long as I keep building them with a variety of packages. Anyways. Your advice is much appreciated!
