I don;t know exactly why it won;t go away or what its tied to since i added alot of plugins testing at one time or it could be the theme. Im pretty sure its a plugin tho but the plugin i thought it was it didnt go away when i deleted the plugin. I also looked thru the theem and still cant find anyhting related to it.

Its an image gallery slider and i want to get rid of it cos i want to try other plugins to test how i can increase ctr but that damn thing is stuck there taking up most of the room on the page and i dont know how to edit it.

    What should i do?

How about giving more information, is it a wordpress site? Have you installed any custom themes? If so what theme? What plugins have you installed?

If we know the answers we may be able to help.

If you can PM me the link to the site, and also the name of the plugin that you deleted, then I will try to find out what's wrong.

I'm using the virtue theme on wordpress and the plugin I had was the easy image gallery plugin. Thing is I was testing alot of different gallery plugins so I don't know if another might be the offender but I deleted all them too yet still it persists.

I believe that there is an option in theme settings with the virtue theme to set the image slider on/off.

Can't be certain ATM as I'm not using that theme but it states that there are options for a slider on THIS SITE.

Edit: Just installed it on one of my sites to take a look and in theme options there is an option to select a slider.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the theme then, you said you have deleted all the plugins but the problem persists so it must be the theme.

You know that we can only guess without more detail, but well, let's give it a try.

    - Any cached version of your website with the old stuff, make sure to clear any cache.
    - Broken plugin, which can be hard to remove without technical skills. Then you better get a fresh copy of your wordpress installation or restore any backup.

Right-click the page and select inspect element. Move mouse over to slider. Look at the code and search for it in the Editor. Delete the code and the slider will disappear!

There is nothing to worry. It's a different slider, left behind from the many you'd tried, and one that you probably have forgotten to deactivate. See my pm for exact details. Hope it helps!:)

You could just back up your posts and media files then delete the whole site and re-install everything.

If you do this just remember to back up everything that you will need.

Alternatively if you have been keeping regular back ups just restore a back up from before the problem occurred.

Ye it is my 1st ecommerce site and it took me a while to set it up how i want so i dont know if i wanna bother with the whole reinstall if i can help it.

Im gonna try working around the slider and see if i can make the layout convert before looking to remove it.
