I will pay you some commission if you can get me investors. For a discussion buzz me.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Give it some time, OP, it has only been 30 minutes since your post and many people have yet to even see it.
No offence OP, but looking at you previous posts you are not investment material, at least at this stage.
Do you have a business plan?
How much investment have you raised so far?
What is your personal investment in the business, how much capital have YOU put in?
I'll invest $1 for 50% share!
BTW, what am I investing in???
1. Yes, I do have a business plan.
2. I have not raised any funds from anyone, but I have $1000 and I can lend another $300 from another local investor. But I need bigger investors.
3. I will put in this $1000 + $300.
Is the business already running and generating income (how much is profit/how many years will it take to become profitable?) or do you only have an idea?
How much Investment are you looking for and how much of a stake are you willing to part with? If you are only willing to give up a 10%-20% equity stake then dream on.
Seriously though, if you only have an idea and $1000 to put into it, then I don't see anybody apart from friends and family (yours) willing to put any money into it.
If anyone can get me bigger investors, I will give him/her free shares in my online business.
I know a little tiny bit about that world, Respenzer.
A business plan is a part of the equation. You'll need a detailed proforma as well as a resume that reflects your background in that industry with some references that have some meat in that industry as well.
THEN, they will look at things and see if it your idea is viable when they get around to it.
Also, $1,300.00, of which $300.00 is borrowed, is not going to attract any VC on any level. They would spend significantly more than that doing proper due diligence.
You want to find someone that would JV on your idea perhaps as that would be a way to go.
1. The business plan is not yet implemented. The business will start to become profitable from within 12 months or within 18 months. The saturation level profits will be in Billions. It's not just an idea.
2. I am looking for $20,000 from the investors and I will offer 30%-35% stake (negotiable).
Then how do we hear stories that people with 0 investments became millionaires ?
Please tell me one.
Aren't there any ?
Most of these stories are self made millionaires. They used money from their 9 to 5 to get started. Is your idea or business a physical product? If so, maybe $1000 would be enough to build a prototype and use a site like kickstarter to get some funding. Their are other ways of getting funding other than investors.
I will go through kickstarter.
What are the other ways of getting funding other than investors ?
Family, friends, borrow on your home, borrow against 401K/pension funds/sell all you own, work and save up the money... things along those lines.
I wish it was that easy. Not many investors will put 20k into an idea!
I have gotten investors online and off, with and without business plans. Max 30k lowest amount 5k.. However asking blindly on a public forum without anything but fluff talk is not going to get you anywhere. Normally I was dealing in nightclub stuff so it was a little different but start with your friends and family. If you have a reputation and a job or collateral put that on the chopping block as well-- towards people who actually know you. If you do have a million dollar idea and you're sitting on the next big thing then get creative. If you believe in your idea then you will find a way and find the money.
