Do a online search.

If it's an ebook, go with clickbank, then become your own affiliate to get the ball rolling and get on the clickbank radar so others will see that your product is selling, then they'll be more willing to give it a chance.

Or, this is assuming you don't have a list of affiliates already, you can start a JV with someone who does have a super list of targeted buyers geared towards your niche.

You can find Joint Venture Forums and opportunites all over the place on the Web.

JVAlert.com is huge, and that is where I have found a few of my Joint Venture Partners.

Head on over to the Warrior Forum - there are many super affilaites there and people that would be willing to team up with you if your product is good enough.
There is even a Joint Ventures Sub-Forum there specifically for this.

I would rather a few JV Super Affiliates, than 100 terrible affiliates who don't know how to promote a product.

and add your program .

3. Post your affiliate page on social sites
like delicious, digg, flur. You can even go
overboard to create a video about how easy
anyone can make money as an affiliate.

because I've done it before when I launched
my product on clickbank.

5. It depends on your market but you can
make your our customers to promote your
product...What you need to do is tell them
that they will make a certain % promoting
your product.

Also, have you considered advertising using classified ads in your local paper, in magazines, and other relevant publications?

It is really a job of "selling" people the idea of selling your product for you.

Separately, have you had a chance to get or prepare "ready to use" affiliate promotional tools and advertising materials (e.g. promotional emails, text ads, banner ads, keywords for ppc marketing, autoresponder email series, promotional videos, etc) that your potential affiliates can use?
