How do I find the SERP?

OK - before you flame me and ask me to use the search function please note - I did indeed use it. I tried both "how to find serp" with & without quotes. I get tons of threads but none that show me "how to find serp". I get a lot with "how to" highlighted and tons of "serp" highlighted.

Unfortunately it takes a lot of time to read every thread only to find the thread was a "how to" something else............. I've literally read for hours and hours for things. I've even found that sometimes if I google it I get a link there to the exact thread in here.

So could you please tell me if there is a nuance to searching this forum that I've somehow missed because I've run into this other times with other search parameters. And............. can any of you guys who know how to maneuver this site find this info for me? I've even googled it and nothing for BHW came up so maybe this info doesn't exist.

Thanks for your help. Maybe the answer is not to worry about it as long as you can't see it because that just means you need to work harder to get it to pg 1?????

Thanks again. Trying several bhw things you guys have here as I have a little time on my hands lately and I found I love doing some of this stuff. I originally was looking to create an e-book for forex stuff as that's an industry I'm intimately involved in and happened upon you guys and you opened my world on a whole different level.

go to the big g and type "google 1000 serps"
you will get to a search tool that looks through up to 1000 results to report your listing

yea, you will also find one if you check the left bar here and go to other -> webmaster tools

I believe you must first understand what is SERP instead of finding it. Then you will get your answer by your own.

TYVM itdeptm & antsaoo! I really appreciate your helpfulness. The tools on the left are very enlightening for sure. I also found, obviously, that the site ranks basically not at all which doesn't surprise me. Time to learn about tweaking!

I gather you mean "what are the serps for my main keyword term "lets go fishing".
Enter that term...press search..not on first first 5 pages?...U need...surprise...backlinks...

Thanks for the compliment. I'm obviously learning all the ins/outs of all of this. I too know "what a serp is" I just didn't know if there was a way to google it and it shows me exactly "where" it is. Just googling it and trying to "guess' which page it's on if it's not on the first few obviously means it's just waaaay too far down!
