How do I find out where my competitor got ther Website Template from?

    Im pretty sure that my competitor is using a template for his website, is there a way I can find where he go it from?



    Im looking to get one similar to his and cannot find one anywhere like it, Paid or free.
    All help appreciated!! :D

    I emailed them saying I loved there website and was curious who designed it. they never responded....

    If its wordpress all you have to do is right click near the header and say "view background image" It will say in you search bar what the theme is.

    no, its not wordpress..

    Looks like it is with oscommerce if that makes a difference?

    if the theme contains a large image you could try to run it through http://www.tineye.com/

    Have you checked the style pages? Some authors keep their version dates and theme names in there.

    You can sometimes copy what could be a default image from the theme and do a reverse image search on it which can lead back to the download/purchase page. That's a big if though.

    tinyeye showed me where the pictures originally came from before they were photoshopped..
    But not the template haha.,

    try just going through some of the source code. might be something in the css file

    you could always view the source on their page, click on the CSS files, and if it's a template - most times there's a signature or copyright notice at the head of the CSS file that will tell you who created it or where it came from.
