How do I automatically extract text or content from a web site that does not have an rss feed? I want to create a kind of POPURLS or ALLTOP for Pubmed articles about specific things. I'll throw you guys a bone - let's say I want to publish the headlines of new studies related to Acai - how would I go about doing that without an RSS feed? I can do it manually, but my god, that would take forever.

At first glance, this looked like a crappy option. Then I found http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=PiGcBVsu3RGGwMUTCB2yXQ and realized it was not impossible. You can extract data from the medline databases and turn them into rss feeds, then do whatever you want with that - like an autoblog fed by medical research.

This could be useful for more than just marketing, but I'll look into that after I have some income rolling in from this.

I've already used the thanks button but thought that other, more creative or more skilled people might want to see what they can do with Yahoo Pipes.
