I'm trying to figure out how to estimate the traffic for an individual URL. Anyone have any suggestions? (I'm going to do this for millions of URLs per month, so it can't be something overly expensive per indiviudal URL).

Doesn't SEMrush do this kind of thing?

I recommend Semrush for that. You'll find it an invaluable tool for tasks like this.

I have SEMRush, and their API. The problem is the cost of this.. and it's only concerned with SERP traffic. So, today, i process about 250,000 URLs per day.. and have a VERY rough calculation. The problem is that it's, well, crap. SEMRush might be marginally better, but it would cost:

250k * 30 = 7.5 million URLs * 10 API units per URL = 75,000,000 API units @ $50/1,000,000 = $3,750. Trying to find something that gives a bit better coverage of "traffic" (not just SERPs) and spend less than that..

But, it might not exist. Or does it? :)

I've looked around for something better than semrush and wasn't able to find anything, unfortunately...Not a lot of websites get the traffic amount right regardless.

Try compete.com. It's similar to Semrush but I prefer Semrush.
