I recently acquired a tech review site, with no google ranking or traffic. I have tried a few ways of advertising (cragislist, facebook, twitter.) Although I haven't really seen decent results.

I think this website is miracle and I really want to share it with the world! Although I need some help finding the right avenue to advertise my website effectively.

If anyone is willing to help me out It would be very appreciated.

Yeah, I think the best way to get traffic is to get it ranked for relevant keywords. Is it a new site? If not, has it been de-indexed previously? This might make it harder to rank it. When you say you tried advertising on Twitter and Facebook, did you pay or use a marketing method? The right (free) method should bring in at least a small amount of traffic with little effort.

I recommend you to try article marketing, classified ads or social bookmarking. And you can also submit your site to directories which will help to drive traffic. Even getting press release can boost your traffic...

    Wish you all success!

Share it with other social media platforms. You could also try bookmarking, blog directories, blog commenting, guest posting and participating in tech forums.

You should do some video reviews on YouTube and rank naturally. :)

Youtube can give you a nice stream of traffic, try to make a tech video review.

Stumbleupon is a nice source too, but not really convertable traffic.

In terms of driving organic, highly targeted traffic to your blog or website my hands-on experience with BuzzBundle does mean that I'd also be giving it a thumbs up.

It's a fairly easy-to-use program and while I also incorporate a whole range of tactics amongst my promotional methods I do find that having the ability to actually engage genuine people on social media can provide some fairly high quality visitors to your site.

Use proper keywords in your articles. Use social media networks like FB, twitter etc to make your website popular. Youtube will create popularity in less time. Quality, unique content plays a big role in increasing traffic to your website.
