How do I download videos from Animoto? (their way doesn't work)

(I'm guessing this is the most fitting section for my question; if it isn't, sorry about that)

I've created a video in Animoto that I would like to use to promote my site. I used the free version, and it says you can export it to YouTube. I tried that several times, but every time, I got an email saying "there was an error with your export; we're working on it. You can purchase a premium account, manually download the video, and post it to YouTube yourself if you wish." Personally, I think everyone gets that message, and it's just a ploy to get people to pay for premium accounts.

Anyway, I can view the video on the site, but I can't download it. Does anyone know of a good video download software that can work from Animoto.com? Most of the video downloaders only support YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, and a few other big ones, but none that I've seen work with Animoto.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a site similar to Animoto that lets you create professional-looking videos for free and download them?

Have you tried contacting support? You should be able to just download it to your computer and then upload it to youtube. I've done it several times.
