Get more links. Get better links. That is all. Thank you for your time and post. :)

    Home Page:
While getting large amounts of high quality backlinks do not forget to spin your anchours otherwise you will most likely get penalized by google for too unnatural link building.

The same way you dominate uncompetitive keywords. There isn't a secret to it - diversified and high quality everything.

    Some time and patience.

If you're trying to rank a new domain for a very competitive term, it will take some time to get there. You can buy an aged domain to cut a big chunk of that time out.

    -Get Homepage backlinks
    -Blog commenting on higher PR
    -Article submission via AMR
    -Profile links
    -Directories

The list goes on and on. Do the basics, then keep adding quality content and links to your site.

There is a lot more to it, but that's a good start.
