It is annoying since they don't explain it properly. They are just like 'ye dude create that verification file then go 'here''.

    Here is what it says:

So how do I create an empty verification file? I am logged into my root with filezilla...now what?

I know this is freaking so frustrating
but I figured it out. After figuring it out I realized they probably think that only advanced users are going to use the dam thing so they don't bother explaining.

    here is what you do:
create a simple text file with notepad (don't put anything on it)
save the file with the name given to you in that page mine was MJ12_D65DAC2935112D422D5D719D63518C75.txt

it's written like this with a link yoursiteDOTcom/MJ12_D65DAC2935112D422D5D719D63518C75.txt
just copy and paste the file name portion and not the whole thing.

now save the simple txt file with the name that you just copied

then upload it to your root directory using FTP client

    my root was in public_html

thats it after that it will authenticate it just like it should.

if you have any problems PM me and I'll try to explain more.

or you can check out this video I found just now
