my site is an html template like
    index.html

    the site appears as
    mydomain[dot]com when accessed.

but google has also indexed it as www[dot]mydomain[dot]com
    it comes under omitted results.

so in short my content will be considered as duplicate, right?
so how do i deindex the ww[dot]mydomain[dot]com pages and make sure
    mydomain[dot]com is indexed?

also sometimes my domain in results appears as mydomain[dot]com and sometimes www[dot]mydomain[dot]com

majority of my backlinks are for mydomain[dot]com
    so what should i do?

Go to your webmasters control panel

    Code:
    http://www.google.com/webmasters/
Add and verify both versions of the site

Go to any of them and click site configuration - settings

Select the Display URLs as domain.com option

use .htaccess and do a 301 redirect for the version you want to show up and all will be fine. just do a google search and you'll find the correct code to do that.

    Yeah, a 301 wouldn't hurt

a 301 redirect should do the trick.. I guess you need to edit your .htaccess

    Code:
    http://www.isitebuild.com/301-redirect.htm
