    Guys,

    I think i have found a decent kw to target but it seems to true?
    Before i go and buy a domain/hosting can anyone give me a simple step by step guide on how i can find out and check to make sure my kw is what im hoping it is ...

    At the moment i have just used the google kw tools and this is what it says ...

    Global Monthly Searches = 55,600,000
    Local Monthly Searches = 24,900,000

    This is based on UK market so i beleive (unless im wrong) that about half of the searches for my kw are based in the UK???

    How else can i check this?

    Above you in the SERPS
    Always check for EXACT match only...

    And if you see a lot of people advertising when you google "your-keyword" it almost always means that money is being made and SEO-ing makes sense..

    make sure the majority of the traffic comes from usa, its is much easier to rank US sites than another country.

    Bugger .... back to the drawing board!
    Am i correct about looking at the 'local' searches? if i have selected UK?
    GLOBAL = Worldwide
    local = uk

    Depends on your settings. You can change country at the top.
