    Yeah. Add it in search console, and check for manual actions.
    Also, google : "site:yourdomain.com"

    Thanks. How do I check for manual actions? And just because the pages are displayed on a site: search, does it mean that it's not penalised?

    If you can't rank on first page for your own domain name query - you have some kind of penalty.

    Use the google webmaster tool. Go to search traffic then manual actions. Another one is by google analytics. Go to all traffic then source/medium. If there's a drop in the organic traffic most probably you have been penalized.
