Read about css man, its quite easy - you can learn basics in about 1 hour.

Doesn't the theme have the option to do this? Most good themes allow you to change font styles.

install the 'easy google fonts' wordpress plugin, then go to appearance - customise.

You can also install a custom css plugin and then add custom css rules to change font styles.
That way you won't need to modify the theme files.
