I'm actually surprised this one's held up as long as it has. I'm trying to hold off and upgrade to a wireless N setup, once they get the majority of the bugs worked out.

If you are trying to change your Gateway IP, on Linksys you can do the following;
1) Login into your router
2) Go to "Status" --> "Router" (This should be on the main toolbar).
3) "DHCP release" will release your current Gateway IP
4) "DHCP renew" will reset and provide a new Gateway IP
To verify that your exposed IP is changed you can check many ways. (One way is to go to sites like WhatismyIP.com).
The above locations of the release/renew might be slightly different on your router dependant upon the firmware version. Even though I am on cable and you are on DSL, this should not make any difference, since its the routers interface.
Note: I haven't changed my IP often, so I don't know how your ISP will react to multiple changes. Tread softly.....

I am looking for a way to change my ip address every five posts on craiglist using an autoposter while NOT losing my isp or the other networks that connect to the net from my main computer.
Is this possible?
I want to set up a macro do this and then just put the batch file into my autoposter which has a function for this and I will be sorted. The only worry is losing my isp then. How much of a possibility is that? That would be a bit of a disaster for me as there are not many providers in Ireland.
So how the hell do you set up a macro on macro express to do this? I haven't got a scoobies how to do it? I have a router. I've read about people logging into the router on here etc. My modem resets the ip when turn it off, but I am looking for an automatic way to do the same thing.
