I'm a bit confused as to whether they frown upon Youtube/video marketing of offers.

If someone can clarify a bit on what the offical stance is it would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

They are fine with it, and it is type in traffic anyway so they don't see the referrer anyway. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and been making a few hundred a day. Haven't had a problem and most likely won't.

i've been thinking of venturing into youtube marketing. is there a reason it's type in traffic? regardless, a simple meta-refresh would blank the referrer, correct?

Doesn't matter how they feel about it really. Most likely if the traffic is backing for the advertiser then you wont have any problems. This is of course unless you get a rogue network/affiliate manager that doesn't like money. Pretty simple really.

You will be fine .... as long as you don't use some copyright material (where the copyright owner might come knocking) ... and as long as it is either type in traffic or double redirected ...

    Good luck

No need for a meta-refresh since it's type in and reason being - they can't click on your watermark and be taken to the site. They have to type it in.

Well at the moment I have a landing page set up (a simple review page with the prominent links to the offer everywhere) as I find that linking to my page in the description box really brings the numbers up and I don't like to rely on lazy people not typing in the address.

I guess it has the same effect though since they don't know where my traffic is coming from anyway since it's filtered through the landing page to them.

Good to know that most CPA networks don't mind Youtube traffic since you can potentially make an absolute killing and there is no limit to how much you can scale up.

Damn dude.. you're making a couple of hundred a day with this, and you're not even providing a link in the description box, just making them type it in from the watermark in the video?! (because, I'm sure there are probably lazy people that don't bother to type it in if there's not a link in the description box - so that says something positive about your marketing methods/videos, that you're able to convert that well while not even providing a link!)

I am providing the link in the description on a few videos but most of them don't have it. It converts at about 1% or less, therefore you need to have a lot of videos.

How much is a lot? Is that 1% based off views to your videos?

Hey Premiumsource, what company's have you found to work the best with youtube traffic ???? Im currently using Maxbounty but haven't as yet struck the same level of success from cpa as yet :) Ive had great success with clickbank sales from youtube traffic and the likes.....

ahh that brings me to another question....... to achieve your 200 bucks a day from youtube traffic gen/cpa, are you solely using youtube or have you harnessed the power of traffic gyser/VPR and the likes?

Also one last thing mate..... Are your CPA Vids sticking or do they violate TOS

Cheers for sharing your success...... i love hearing of these story's...

A question....unless you were producing you own videos, wouldn't all videos you upload be copyright violations and TOS violations? Is it just a matter of uploading others' videos, watermarking them and hoping the original video owners don't report you?

After I upload videos by artists on several major-labels, I get what appears to be an auto-generated mail notification from them stating that "they see what I'm doing", basically. They reserve the right to throw that ad-banner and related-videos box up next to it and move on.

So no, I don't think it's a TOS violation specifically unless they really don't like you personally. As they definitely have code in place to detect copyrighted videos, but they still don't bother banning them outright.
