How did this website add their own links whenever a user copies content from them?

I noticed that on this DIY page, though I assume the rest of DIY is the same:

    Code:
    http://www.doityourself.com/stry/h2removepaint
When you try to copy content from there, and then paste to a Word file or a wordpress comment area, their own line is added:

    Code:
[SIZE=3]Read the following suggestions carefully on how to remove old paint or varnish. They can help you do a better job with considerably less effort.[/SIZE][LEFT][COLOR=#000000][COLOR=White]
    Read more: [URL]http://www.doityourself.com/stry/h2removepaint#ixzz0eehSwMvg[/URL]

    [/COLOR]

My question is: How did they do this?

    Help much appreciated.

I took a look at the source code and found this

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/view-source:http://tcr.tynt.com/javascripts/Tracer.js?user=b2N4ce62qr3Rmdab7jrHcU&s=111"></script>

I then went to tynt.com to see that they offer this service for a fee. I don't think it would be terribly difficult for a coder to write you a javascript app that did the same thing, just without the stats that go along with it. If your site uses a standard header and footer file it could easily be added into one of those files so that it was integrated into every page without having to manually add it each time.

    Hope that helps some.

Thanks guys. So helpful. I've downloaded the script at seox.org and edited it to suit my own needs. Hopefully add some tracking soon.
