I wanted to buy a FB page and was led to a site where I found the following page. It has 105k likes with 17k talking about it. But what blew my mind is that this page was created on 19th Feb 2014! Just a few days ago. This person is selling it for $80. I ain't buying it but I want to know how someone can get 17k people talking about it and 105k likes in such a short period of time? (Obviously they did not spend on FB ads, else they would not be selling for $80.)
    Nike Air it seems.

^^ That's pure spam. You should not post the url publicly IMO.

My intentions are good. I did not know this couldn't be done. I have removed the URL which was in text format btw.

So does anyone know how do they do it? Is a bot being used or what is it that gets such a high amount of activity in such a short period of time?

I bought 2800+ likes toward my FB page for $2. Many FB accounts are real human. This is okay for SEO purpose, but not for monetizing.

If you want to monetize anything at FB, I suggest you to use FB ads.

So how would someone buy 105k fans and sell the page for $80. I spent 50 bucks on FB ads and got a mere 300 US UK AUS and CAN likes. I know this is really bad but a figure like 105k is way more than $80. There is something more to this than what meets the eye.
Buying 105k fans with 17k talking about it would cost a bomb and then selling for 80 won't make sense. Am I missing something here?

I feel like a friggin noob. lol

Not a big deal. I started a page few weeks back, got 20000 likes from addmefast in about 5 days spending 5 manual hours per day. After 5 days i had 20000 likes with 4000 talking about this. I am sure i got all bots but still talking about was 4k.

So that's the story here even services like amf can show lots of people talking about.

I would stay away from such sell offers for obvious reasons.

Surely AMF as the previous poster mentioned. It's nothing surprising... Activity is usual too.

Which is the most liked country turkey, egypt, india, or are they targetted us uk canada.
When they post how much activity they receive i mean in terms of likes shares how often they post on pages i would like to see before i could say something.
    There are many possibilities.
They could be real, fake, amf, clickjackers, But definitely not fb ad's because i don't think someone spending on fb ad;s going to sell it for 80$.
