Hey guys.. As you all know many guys got manual " pure spam" penalty by google for their CPA sites. I was also a victim of it.

Some people said its due to mass reporting of the backlinks of your site by competitors and no point of trying to recover it. Yes i believed it!. i changed my website completely. Put new articles and changed everything possible and sent a reconsideration request. after 2 weeks of time i got their reply saying " Major Spam Problem Persist". then again i sent a lengthy reconsideration request after doing some more changes to my site. After 3 days i got the SAME reply. So i gave up on it for a while.

All of sudden on week back i thought of giving another shot at this by hiring a guy to look at the site and clean it. I gave him full cpanel access and GWT access. As he said he went through each and every file of my site and checked for any words, scripts and other stuff which are against google guidelines and removed them. ( he had removed many JS of my site and some spammy looking words). After That he submitted a request by himself saying " hello sir, i cleaned my site. please review the site again " it was a short request. After 5 days Volaa...!!They have removed the penalty. And restored my ranking as well. but 3-4 positions below.
I think this will help you guys in whatever way. so do not listen to others and give up easily on the site which you worked hard for. cheers :)

Congratulation on getting your pure-spam cleaned. But it is against BHW rules to lure people to PM you and try to sell to them. If you want to offer this service, you need to open a BST.

    Good luck with your account.

Yes it's a lie. It's possible to remove the penalty but some people just quit. :)

I cleaned up my site by myself, I was looking around for someone to do that for me but everyone who looked at the site told me that there are no way to get it back, so i start going thru the site and removed part by part which could violate, so on 3rd request i got it back.

Only works some of the times depending on your niche. I usually just do a full site switchover/redesign and most of the times the reconsideration request goes through fine. I've had some approved in a few hours before. But like I said, the success rate varies between niches.

Most of those deindexed sites were blackhat niches like game hacks/cracks. I believe it is not worth it for these kind of niches, when google sees it is just blackhat stuff they won't care about a reconsideration.
