How can you tell if you have a dead proxy?

    So im a new to scrape box and im messing around with it. its not harvesting links from Yahoo anymore in backlink checker. I try to open yahoo in internal browser with proxy and its not showing anything.

    Did i just totally kill my proxies?:eek:

    possibly usually proxies that dont work are dead .. is it a private proxie or a public one .. most public ones suck alot

    they are private proxies i have ten of them i just read dont use private for harvesting and they are reading okay when i check the proxy in the proxy list settings but im not getting anything in the actual havesting

    public proxys time span for use is usually zip since every ones using it you should get a vpn its just 11 buck a month and works wonders ive used private free public they all honestly blow when compared to a vpn.

    its not the proxys it sounds to me its your ip that happend to me thats what promted me to use a vpn

    proxies are fine. I dont know what happened but they are working again.
