I see threads where people post locations for links and then someone later says "Those are no-follow links"

How can one determine if a site or link is follow or no-follow?

The easy way is to download a firefox plugin which automatically colours links in blue and pink to show you which is nofollow and which is ********. Just search firefox add ons for ******** plugin.

The basic way is to see the source code of the page, look for a link html tag, and see if it has "rel=nofollow" or rel="external nofollow" in there. Like this one:

    <a href="somewhere.com" title="some text" rel="nofollow">nothing</a>

    Cheers....

    Thanks for the info guys.
That plugin is what I am looking for. I love Firefox and all its plugins.

Mondo that info is also pretty useful. Tools are great but I really am trying to learn as much as a I can and I wasnt exactly how a link is set to nofollow
