    Hello!
Is there a way to find out if your IP is blacklisted by Instagram before starting to make account?

    Thanks!

IPS can be able to GET / POST to instagram but could be flagged for creation. The only way you can do is to try :)

Not quite. If your IP is on a blacklisted by Instagram, they have created a rule on their end which will prohibit any traffic from your blacklisted IP address to their servers. Therefore, no traffic between the client (you) and the server (them) can take place.

OP - You can check out this thread to see if your IP is blacklisted globally by the DNS servers. http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blackhat-lounge/236390-see-if-your-ip-blacklisted.html However, that is not Instagram specific and just a good to know.
Also in terms to account creation on Instagram, since Instagram is fighting to the death to keep the platform mobile only, you will also want to pay attention to accounts per device id. You can easily use a proxy to get around a blacklisted IP but Instagram limits the number of accounts you can make per device id. I've successfully made 5-6 accounts per iPhone on the same IP (my home IP) but I hear other people have different methods which I am unfamiliar with and cannot speak to so results may vary.

You are partial wrong in the first part , there are IP'S that can be blacklisted and not able to perform any calls ( get / post / we ) , but there are also some IP's that are still able to connect , login, and do everything but not account creation , so the point is you never know until you try...

Your IP can be grey listed if you reach engagement limits which allows you to authenticate and view photos but not like, comment, or follow. If Instagram has blacklisted your IP, they have excluded that IP from communicating with their backend therefore prohibiting you to authenticate. Here is a good synopsis of the meaning of blacklisting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacklist_(computing).

Also, HTTP request methods do not include a 'we' method, what are you referring to here? Here is a great overview of HTTP - If you scroll down to request methods, all available methods are listed with an explanation of what they do: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertext_Transfer_Protocol
These request methods work the same for Restful API calls to Instagrams backend.
