How can I withdraw from stealth PP to real bank account?

I've got a stealth paypal account going along okay, I've been using it for about the last 6 months without any problems. (I'm in the UK with UK ID and bank accounts, if that matters)

But the problem I have now is, I want to be able to transfer money between Paypal and my bank, so I got myself a new bank account (in my real name) to let me do that, since my old current account is linked to my previous, limited account.

But can I link up a bank account under my real name and address, with a stealth Paypal account under a fake name and real address? Or should I have used a fake address and my real name instead? I don't know how to get the Direct Debit instruction to work, or even IF it can work....

Help please?

I read recently (on another forum), that Metrobank (who I've opened my new current account with) tend to allow deposits from Paypal accounts even if the Paypal has a different name on it than the bank account, but they reject the Direct Debit instruction if Paypal tries to take money directly out of the bank. Is this true?

There's ways around this - I think - as I don't have any seller fees from eBay or other sites that are automatically deducted from my Paypal account, so they wouldn't need to drag money out of my bank without warning, and as long as I fund transactions from Paypal balance and debit card I should be okay...I think.

The problem stems from the fact that I want to use Paypal to occasionally buy physical items (from eBay), so it needs to have my real address attached, so I can receive goods. But to avoid this Paypal being linked to my old banned one, I have to change the name (as I can't change the address), and that buggers me up with linking a bank account for withdrawal purposes. Uh...

Has anybody had first-hand experience of adding a bank account with real details to a stealth PP account for withdrawal purposes?

Particularly if that bank account is with MetroBank (UK)?

I'd really like to know if it'll work alright or if it'll blow up in my face the first time I try to send money between them...

if discover bank is in uk you can add them to stealth account they dont care about names

Thanks for the suggestion, but after doing a quick search, Discover are US only.

I chose MetroBank because they're the newest and smallest bank in the UK, so I figured might be the best chance for an account that wouldn't matter about names. I've sent MetroBank an email directly asking them if it would be acceptable, but I'm still waiting for an answer back.
