I have load of old domains still with good content that have lost rnakings due to updates.

Now i have a few more seo tools to play with im wondering if i should try and rerank these ones that suddenly were blasted off the serps or start new domains.

Thoughts?

i mean it is pretty suggestive that they were penalized cos they all suddenly dorp after some update or other but that doesnt nec mean if i make more backlinks they wouldnt come back.

if i start work on them again is there anyhting to look for to tell if its not gonna come out and that i should cut my losses and start anew vs keep blasting the same site

check the backlinks...

separate like this...

1. High quality links.
2. Mid quality links.
3. low quality links.

Find out the ratio and again start building evenly. I do this, whenever I move out from serps. But do not target the same kws this time.. spread it for long tail kws..

You can try to check the site with this penalty checker tool-

arent those tools worthless since google would never tell you what is and isnt a penalty so whoever made it is jsut purely speculating

This website barely lets me answer your question as it is deemed spam if you mension any tools by name.

In short. Use things to analyse your backlinks.

i see your enw aorund here kid, just use . and 0 s etc to get around that problem :P

nice one :D

i recommend building links at a constant rate.. like 30-50 tier1s..
I recommend tier1s using brand and general keywords first for the first week..
And mixed on the 2nd week..

Get these type of links which i see give more points..
1. links with pr ( blogroll links or footer links or sidebar links)
2. guest posting links or links from private blog networks
3. some links from free blog sites
4. join blog networks for links diversification

Note.. never focus on one number.. used all from 1-4..
Use your tools for tier2s and tier3s..
