To me this picture doesn't look like anything special. A portrait mode photo on Iphone 11 or 12 with just a bit of photo editing.

It's all about lighting. Spend money on lights, not on the camera.

Tbh, just hire a pro coz you don't know what you're doing.

I think the user above was talking about hire a photographer rather than hiring a 'community manager'(your job).
But yea, your photos aren't too bad. You've got some work to do on the angles, lighting and also your camera isn't good enough to reach the quality of your Original post's photo. If you can get your hands on a Iphone 11 or 12 and look up some guides on youtube to shoot profesionally on Iphone 11-12. That would help a lot. I'm not sure about the other alternative smart phone that ave quality cameras, all I know is that Iphones do the job very well for this kind of photos.

Go to Instagram -> find photography student in your city -> pay them $100

No need to buy a guide from a guru

If the example is yours, it's pretty fine already.
Looks natural vs. the plastic mcdonalds similar ones.

That's the thing my friend.. I want to be that "student" because that could be a plus on my portfolio... And could give a better services when i started to work with another IG accounts...

That's why i asked for a "Guide" or "Course" about photography and make myself a professional community manager. And earn more money...

Lol is this thread satire? Stop worrying about pixels and start focusing on your lighting. The photo you posted is blown out.

The tools only bring you so far, you need to learn how to use tools.

The example photo isn't mine...

View attachment 182734

this one is mine. but doesn't look like the other one
Ya, you've got some work to do. Reaching a level of a photo like you originally posted in the thread is very easy. After a few weeks of practice with youtube guides on lighting and some basic editing and a Decent camera.

Secret: angles are EVERYTHING when taking pics of food AND people.

I'm not a photographer but I know there is a term in blender called "orthographic" view mode and "perspective" view mode. Here are the differences:
editors_3dview_navigate_views_quad.png

Top right is perspective view, while the rest are orthographic view.

Everything in real life looks much much better if you try to replicate the orthographic view better. There are a lot of tik tok "beauty tutorials" that I have came across explaining this. The best way to achieve this is by holding your camera from further away and using the zoom option. I promise this will make all of your photos look much better and it's such an easy trick.

With this comment just add warm lights and of good quality. Just do not capture fast.
Think and focus correctly from various angles and keep capturing. When you watch them you will see which one is good.
Then you can edit as well which will give extra attraction.

Lighting and angle. It's very important in photography.
You can go learn on youtube more about it.
