I am using interspire to send these emails to my mailing lists. My server currently only allows 500/hour and I need to be sending at least 2000+/hour. Can anyone recommend a cheap/reliable server I could set up interspire on?

Also, are there any vps servers that don't care about spam email being sent?

They all care about spam. Just just tolerate bulk emailing better than others. If you are sending pure garbage and not cleaning your lists, no one will recommend hosting to you because your bad habits will harm us all.

I have a custom version of Interspire 6.1.2 that will rotate SMTP accounts, subject, from, from email. So...

You install IEM on one server, load the SMTP details of your other hosting accounts and if someone complains or you get caught bulk mailing, only your SMTP server is shut down and your server with Interspire and your mailing list stays active.

If you create 4, 500/hour accounts, you will get 2k but if your limit is 500, I would stay closer to 400.

Hey coyote do you mind elaborating a bit on your setup. Would it be possible to use a reseller account and setup several hosting accounts with that? Also what is your deliverability like with these hosting accounts and what are the advantages of rotating subject lines, from, from email etc.

Btw I'm not trying to hijack your thread OP. I'm in a similar position to you and pretty new to bulk mailing this way but I'm sure you would like to hear answers to some of these questions to.

Thanks

I do not have evidence to prove that rotating the subject, from or from email helps, but I have to think so. It makes each email more unique so that it doesn't look like you sent 100k exact emails. Also, it allows you to play around with the subject line hoping that something sticks. You can also do this with a Split Test.

As for a reseller account, it may work. Not sure if all users share a single IP or multiple IP's. It would be worth getting a reseller account and using the SMTP but I wouldn't keep Interspire on it. If they ban it, all goes south.

I've learned from my mistakes not to keep everything on the same server and to always have a backup of a backup plan. I literally have $500/month servers that I do not use that are simply backups in case something goes very wrong with my two primary servers. It can be a waste of money, but if you were in my shoes, you would better understand and see the benefits. But I do not expect that from someone just starting. A few shared hosting plans as backups are good enough.

I will have to look into the reseller option a bit more and see if it's a viable option so. I know it's smart to split test subject lines/emails but I think if you just send a different version of your email from each SMTP it would work well too. I mean isn't all emailing about sending duplicates of one piece really weather you use a self hosted client or aweber etc.

I think having a different version for each SMTP does makes sense though if you want to keep all your hosting/SMTPs as separate entities. I'm using Arp Reach btw and it has this sort of functionality to split test emails with each email being assigned a unique SMTP. Pretty cool :)

Can you please let me know what your deliverabilty is like from your hosting accounts and what you do if anything to increase it?

Thanks

try contacting interspiremods or google them. They deal in server for email marketing but I am sure they won't give for spamming purpose. If you have opt-in lists then go ahead and try them.
