How can I search for posts with likes and comments from an advertising database?
You cannot directly sort posts by likes and comments in the ad database. The Ad Library primarily focuses on ad transparency and does not have engagement filters.

Meta ads typically don't offer filtering based on engagement metrics, but you can rely on ad IDs or use chat software, which provides very fast support.

Go to the post ID and use the API or a dedicated tool to collect that data

Most people just use third-party ad libraries or social listening tools for that. Some platforms let you filter by engagement (likes/comments), but results are limited. Otherwise it’s manual searching + sorting by “top” or using basic scrapers. Depends how deep you need the data.

I don't think there's any point in looking for posts like that, because you'll only find active posts. What I would do is go to adheart and analyze what's currently being launched most often in a particular location. Search by keywords.

Once you've decided on the video you want to promote, generate comments yourself through comdrop. You'll get unique and relevant comments specifically for you.
