I bought an expired domain that has a lot of good links to its old pages that is not there anymore and I want to create those pages to keep the incoming link value...

I mean that there is a lot of links to pages such as this:
    "mydomain/ page .htm"

but in wordpress I cant find how to make it like this example above

is it the same if i just changed the permalink?

Is there a way for me to save pages as ".htm" extension using a plugin?

I want to change some pages only like 40 or so and let the others stay the same.

    Thanks

You can change the permalinks in the settings in WP dashboard.

You can just add .htm to the permalink structure, and I hope that would solve your issue.

Let me know if that doesnt help.

If the structure of the old link was match with Wordpress, you can create wordpress blog and use permanlinks as .htm to match those links.

If the old site doesn't use Wordpress, you can use FTP to create .htm file on your web hosting.

I'd look at the URLs and decide whether I thought a suitably relevant page could be created for each of them. If it could then I'd try to keep it, and if it couldn't then I'd redirect that page to the homepage.
