Why isn't this in the YouTube section?

You can't specifically remove a watermark from a YouTube video, however what you can do is crop the video so that the watermark (and part of the video) is sliced off. However, that would require the watermark to exist in a bordered position (right next to the top, left, right or bottom border), for it to work well.

    Here's what I have done:
    Requirements: Camtasia, Graphics program
Most of the watermarks are at the bottom of the video in an inactive area.

    1. I assume you already extracted the video from YouTube.
    2. Use a graphics program and create a simple black rectangle, or one with the watermark you WANT :D (sized similar to the watermark, may have to test a bit on the size)
    3. In Camtasia, simply render a NEW video, and when it asks for the watermark on the rendering options, choose the rectangle you created and position it so that it sits on top of the other watermark.
Now when you look at the video, you will see only your own watermark at the bottom.
I have done this several times, very simple once you get the hang of it.

    Hope this helps!!

you can create a small black ribbon sort of graphic and watermark your url in white color text and save file as jpeg file

1)use sonyvegas or xilisoft moviemaker and select watermark video and select the jpg file and adjust it accordingly to cover out earlier watermark on the video.

thats not possible, its like extracting an egg inside a cake. What you do is you cover it up with another watermark with a solid rectangular line like this:

download uleadvideo studio from torrents, thats the simplest editor that can do the trick

to all the people saying not possible, you must have never tried good ol' photoshop

specifically the content aware and spot healing tool in CS5

I use it to get rid of the watermarks on shutterstock photos, but the same principle could be used for frame by frame video editing

The word is REMOVE. By using spot healing, you are not removing it technically, but putting a layer to cover it.

And who in their right mind would do that to a video?????????

There are at least 1,400 frames in a minute of video sir

A possibility that is not logical and practical is just being nuts!

You understand that it will take 30 days to totally cover the watermark of 1 minute video using the spot healing tool if you can manage to finish 1 frame in 30 minutes and not sleep at all for 30 days. Still wanna do it?

Depending on the video of course. The OP did not tell us what the video was. Maybe it was something that for each frame in his 20 second video all was needed was 2 clicks in photoshop. 1 for selecting and 2 for pressing delete/content aware.

In that case it would take about an hour tops:bebored:

I removed both watermarks in about 5-10 clicks or 30 seconds

So 5-10 clicks and not 2 clicks
30 seconds? nope, check the time
Now do that with consistency in 1,400+ frames

for a 60 second video at a regular 30fps encoding, you're looking at 1800 edits.

at 30 seconds per edit, that amounts to about 15 hours of continuous work.
