I am trying to sale a camera that is worth $9000. I have a buyer ready to send funds but I don't want PayPal to limit my account. I don't have any invoices just in case I do get limited. How do I avoid getting limited when receiving this amount of funds? Should I call PayPal ahead of time? Don't use or transfer the money immediately? Also this account is 2 days old and fully verfied. Stealth account as well. Help me out guys! I love this forum. :)

Tip: DON'T HAVE HIM MAKE THE PAYMENT THROUGH PAYPAL. It's too easy for him to get his money back after you ship him the camera (even if your account doesn't get limited).

Yeah please don't do that man. For that amount of money i would never use Paypal. Especially that your account is 2 days old. I would not even attempt that. You will lose the money and your camera.

9k? Just spend 25 bucks on a bank wire, or even 150 if international.

You could also try a service like escrow.com.

If you are worried about them asking for a "refund" maybe you could set up a fake account, load it up with a reloadable Visa card. Be sure to use a proxy when making the account. Then you could have them give you several payments, after you get the payments, send it over to your main in several transactions. That's just my idea, not 100% if it would work.

Paypal will limit your account after that much money hits your account they will hold that money for as long as they want . Your customer will get pissed since you will tell him that you can't send the camera until the money clears. It will be a big mess.

Then he's a scammer? Use a middleman service like escrow.

Using a 2 day old Stealth Paypal Account to receive a $9000 payment is foolish. Red flags would instantly go up and your Account would be limited and the funds frozen. Then Paypal would ask you to send them several pieces of documentation. Even if you provide them with the documentation, it would still be a long time before you see that money.

Here google this "paypal sucks" and read the horror stories there. Paypal can do anything that they please and nobody can tell them what to do. They simply don't care about sellers and their accounts.
