How can I rank a site locally if I'm a lawyer referral service?

How do I get my site in the pack 3 without a physical location? I have a website that I've ranked to the top ten for lawyers in my county. It's a general website with articles on legal matters where I'm leasing spots out to lawyers practicing specific laws in the local area. I entered my domain name without the dot com to Google's business page/map using my own home address and by checking the box where I don't serve at my location. Is this okay?

I was thinking about renting a physical location (office) to put down the address for my attorney referral service website to make it more legit and possibly less chance google will penalize it. Is this okay?

**The website has disclaimers on every page that lets visitor know advice is not to be taken without consulting a real attorney.**
