Hello everyone, I'm 16 years old and in high school right now and I have no way of getting around Paypal's age requirement. I don't want to use my parent's information and I already attempted lying about my age but it did not work. Do I have any other options/methods of making money where I won't have any issues with age? Thank you!

Try running ccleaner and signing up on paypal again. Maybe you just need to hook up a bank account to it. There's no way paypal can know your real age when you're registering.

;) Try again with your real name and DOB and give them a real ID for verification if they ask. when you've to go below ethical ways of earning money, you can try to give fictious details then and create more accounts. Unless you've unclean motives, no harm in giving facts.

I'm also 16 and I pump around $5,400-$6400 a week though my PayPal account. My account is linked with my bank account, every single payment i receive I withdraw to my bank account straight away.

If my account hits a certain $XXXX amount it will be locked and need age verification. Just be safe and don't hit this limit.

If you are receiving a large payment, ask for it in pieces and explain your situation. They will be more then happy to help you out.

If you need any more help just shoot me a message on Kik.

If you can't get into paypal, there's many cpa networks that payout via check or wire transfer.

You can still use PayPal if you register under a bank account tied to your parents name.

I made a PayPal account when I was 15. You can write articles as I did, that's how I started.

I had a paypal when I was like... 13 or so (2008), but I only used it for buying stuff on ebay/amazon for years. Then when I was 16 I ran an online business of sorts which took payments through paypal... I had my bank account linked, and withdrew my payments every day, never more than $400.

After about 4 months, I guess paypal thought something was fishy, and asked me to send them a picture of my ID, which I did. Not even three days later, I receive an e-mail telling me that one of my payments failed. Off to paypal I go, and I end up on a landing page of sorts that tells me my account has been "limited" -- I cannot send or receive money, add money to my account, transfer to my bank, add/remove bank accounts, or add/remove cards. There goes my entire business. So I called paypal customer support to say "alright what the fuck guys" and they tell me my account has been limited because I'm under 18. WHAT?!

Absolute bullshit. I ended up losing my business as a result, and the $3XX payment I was supposed to withdraw the day my account got limited was frozen until I turned 18. I didn't think about it then, but I probably could have opened a new checking account and made a new paypal. Instead I waited until I turned 18, and immediately got on the phone with paypal to restore my account to its proper status.

I'm seeing other stories here already. Perhaps my situation was different. Either way, I'd be careful and make sure not to move too much through your account too fast. Otherwise, you can just buy a verified paypal and attach your bank account. There's also a few other ways to get paid that may require less identification. Browse around BHW and if you look deeply into some of the methods that you see, many of them don't have an age requirement anyway.

Good luck with your endeavors, young sir/lady.

What's wrong with using your family's information? Just ask your father or mother - I am sure they will be happy to help you out.
