How can I make an banner open in a new page. Here is what I have.

    Just add the image into a post and link it while adding the setting for open in new window and then go to text mode and copy the code. There must be a problem in your code, if it doesn`t open, maybe you should close the "_blank" tag :) But if you can`t manage to find the problem, just use the add to post tip, that should do the trick.

    I appreciate that but it is going to go into a widget, so it will be displayed above my menu on the right hand column of my blog. So I cannot use the editor to make it. Or can I? Is that what you meant. Make it in the post than copy html to widget. That way the editor can add the new page tag.

    Fantastic idea. I will try it now.

    It worked fine. Because it is going into a text widget I had to get rid of the alignment and delete the alt text for the relationship. because I didn't need the extra code but it would have worked either way.

    That was a great idea.
