I need some recommendations for page linking structure.

My site is based on wordpress.

In past sites, I used to just link posts to home page, that worked, but it only really worked for the home page and no other pages. So now i am looking for a linking structure that I can use to optimize three of my main pages. This site is fairly new and has a low amount of content, few images and the necessary SEO plugins. I also plan on having a static landing page that I haven't constructed yet because I have so little traffic.

    for example purposes:
    I am trying to rank page1, page2 and page3.
All of these pages sit on my home page nav bar (if that matters.)

How would you link your post to the three pages to optimize all three to rank well?

I am really trying to achieve the best natural ranking in googles eyes without having to start backlinking.

    Thanks in advance,
    The Count

The more you link to your page 2 and page 3s from your other pages, the more you state, that the site you are linking to is an important part of your site. However, it wouldn't look natural to link to all your 100 pages (for instance), on one page. So you should only list the most important parts of your site on all pages.

Come on man? Really? You're on blackhatworld. Start some linkbuilding. Unless you have other sites voting for yours, you will never rank for a good keyword.

Obviously, i'm going to have to backlink. I just don't want the backlinking doing all the work for my rankings. Do you know what I mean?

Some people build their entire site around their inbound links. I'm trying to achieve good google positioning by a great inner site structure.

Any recommendations for a greatly efficient inner linking structure?

My backlinking is in the works already... :)

I have found this blog post talking about linking structure of the website..
    http://www.keywordcountry.com/blog/...-reveals-4-killer-seo-tips-to-his-kidnappers/
    It says
Keep important pages within 3 clicks from the home page...

Make sure every web page must be linked to at least one other page of your blog.

To improve the SERP ranking of your internal pages, get deep links for your internal pages.
With deep links, I mean, quality backlinks for your inner pages.

    Thanks Kaithe.Clarke,
I'll probably be going along those lines. Matt Cutts is a great SEO guy.
