Although around 20 people visit my website every day, I only get 1 or 2 hops to my affiliate link. Are there any ClickBank oriented themes/layouts that improve sales or should I concentrate on website promotion? The average rank in Google is #8, which means that the click through rate is low.

Which option would be most effective; active promotion or optimisation of website?

Thank you for the idea. I shall research whether there are existing social media pages for my niche and base my decision upon that.

Traffic and conversion are as important as each other, they are both part of the equation:

    traffic x conversion = sales.

I also wanna know how to convert better.

The most important Number imho here is: 20 UV per Day.
Make that bigger by driving Traffic.
    Huge Amounts.

You can do that by adding more Content, SEO, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Ads, and so on.
Your Daily Visitors-Number is way too little to really make any judge on your Clickthrough Rate.
