    Hello there,
I'm struggling to increase volume of a company's brand name in google.
I tried PRs, backlinks and social media posts in last 6 weeks, but no significant improvement in search volume for the brand,
How can I improve it? Any suggestion?

Or I'm doing the right things and need to wait for more?

If no/few people search that term everyday, how it could become MORE popular in searches number? You need a lot of people to search that specific term everyday, If I am right, better concentrating on other things IMHO.

Do something controversial and/or use guerilla marketing techniques.

    Well said.

even if you have the greatest company/p[roduct in this world, you need to create Buzz around it.

At the beginning nobody will ever look for your brand/name nowhere. But once word of mouth starts spreading, you could see an uptick in search.

So the only way to create buzz is either Gorilla and Controversial for B2C or some outstanding whitepaper/research for B2B.

    What is IMHO?

    What is controversial marketing?
Can you recommend any good blog or video on guerilla marketing technique lessons?

I can do social media posts all day, 100s of them, but if no one is listening it is like shouting in an empty room.

Get a social media following, build engagement with your followers, not just on the topic of your brand, but find what interests your potential clients.
Memes, inspirational quotes, funny gifs, infographics, whatever and share those as well. Get a following, while it won't result in more Google searches to start, it will result in people knowing who you are.

Who are your competitors? Do some AdWords bids for their names, with ads like "are you sure x will give you the best product/service/handjobs?" Or "we do x better" something like that to get more recognition.

Sure, you did some press releases, bit were they all "hi, we are x and we do y and here is our website", get a press release out that is more along your brands personality, are you arrogant? "We give the best x, no one is better. Here is why, and we'll prove it every day", do a fun press release, do a video press release, whatever, but make it with your brands personality.

Get people talking about you, and then you have a real brand. I mean, just because you "branded" your site, it isn't a brand until others know about it and talk about it, truly.

You need a PR stunt - something particularly funny, controversial, or with a 'shock' factor (careful it does not turn into negative PR though)

Quality Proxies searching for the term "naturally". You'll need to make it all look legit searches else it won't work at all. I wouldn't go with any of the BHW sellers as these proxies are overvalued and recycled a lot of times between different users.

If you've got time, research about building private PBN.
If done right, this could be a whole new scope of traffic generation for your client's sites.

Perhaps building a brand name out of your company's name can definitely help you boost your site. Sometimes it's not about searching for a particular keyword, but getting a brand name out there that matters, and if you can build a brand name on social media sites, that should create importance and awareness on your site in the long run.

Hire micro workers to type the brand name in Google search everyday for a couple of days.
I've created a bot to do this, but it failed to achieve what I needed, or maybe it needs more work.
