    Hi,
I'm trying to build a page in the fun/memes/wonders niche, I worked really hard through that past 2 weeks and haven't been able to get more than 250 fans till know!
I know it will get easier once you have your first 3-5K fans, but I think I will die before I reach that number, it will take a lot of time and hard work! I don't really care about hard work, but I really care about my time!
Are there any ways to get those first thousands faster than this?!
I'm ready to pay some money, but not that much (let's say 200$ max) because I don't want to waste a lot of money in the process of making fans! I want most of my fans to be free and have real intrest in my page!
I was really thinking about Facebook PPC, but as I heard it would take 0.5-1$ to get 1 fan! This is really expensive for me, so are there any other options ! or is there a way to reduce the bid amount in facebook PPC to (let's say 0.1$ for each fan)?!
please note that I want US/UK/AU/CA fans

    Please help me!

P.S: don't try to sell me fans, I know it doesn't work, I want real fans who have interest in my page.

You could use those 250 fans to get even more with viral content. Just figure out what would make people share your posts.

Just because Facebook says that's the CPC, you can always bid lower. I had a decent amount of luck with CPM. You just have to target properly, and give people a reason to click.

I'm in a similarly viral niche, where people love to share the content. I get 18 cent CPM with a 2.228% CTR. Not the best out there, but definitely is worth the money.

There is like 1 million pages in that niche, people can't you think about something else?
If you want 1-2K like just pay $100 to some huge page to share your page and that's it

Make fake accounts of good looking girls / lads. Add people to the accounts from other picture fan pages, especially the people who share and like pictures, then invite them to your page once you have befriended them.

wow man that's really good and totally different from what I heard!
So, first advice is to do CPM instead of CPC
and you have 2.228% CTR which is 22 clicks per thousand impressions!
that's good, how many of them convert to likes in average?!
and you target US/UK fans right?!

Can you tell me more detils about how you are doing this?! because I really don't know much about using facebook ads!

it's the most viral niche in facebook, you need such niches to make viral pages! I know the competition is high, but I'm gonna take my chances any way.
Do you really think if I get a big page like 1M fans to share my page I will get 1-2K fans?!

You just have to keep at it till it starts snowballing, at least this way you are getting targeted people who are sharing things, in the end the work should pay off.

Why don't you try social like exchange sites? It's easier and faster to build fans

One tip is to not drop money on ppc if you're in the memes niche, you won't make many conversions.

That's what I'm willing to do if I don't get any way around it! thanks man

it's not an option! I tried it before with my old page, they don't interact with the page at all!

I will never drop money on ads unless I'm 100% sure it will be useful.

Struggling with my Page as well. My niche is comedy. I am at 481 now.
I want all my fans to have real interest in my page. And I will NEVER buy fans :)
Hard work is the key :)
Try to post regularly and often.

CPC makes sense in some niches. If your ad isn't enticing clicks, then you should go CPC. My ads are "viral" in a sense, as in people want to click because they want to see what I have. Think a niche that drives emotion. A simple meme site isn't going to get all those clicks, and will be super hard to monetize.

I don't see the stats on %of people liking the page, but it's looking like +90% on average. For example today, it was 444 clicks and 426 likes. (I'm not really doing much advertising, just letting the group build naturally through shares). CPM though makes sense in my case, because people want to see more of what's on my page.

My page is ~95% from the US, and is ~90% female.

I got all the advice from some WSO on Facebook Marketing. I don't see it in my downloads, and it's not popping up in a BHW search.

The page has just under 100k right now, and is 5-6 weeks old. The original plan was Amazon, although my last post only made $19. I might mess around with some other affiliate programs and see what happens. I setup automated posting a few months out, so I might just let it sit and grow naturally, and then pop back on in a few months.
