I make custom videos and a potential client asked me if I can make him a video. I wasn't too familiar with what he requested, so I told him I'd do a sample and send it to him. I didn't take any money from him or make him any promises (hint why I'd provide him a sample). Anyways, he didn't like it and is upset it was bad and is really physcho. He is trying to ruin my business, people I tweet, he retweets and tells them not to buy, does same with my instagram followers.

He has 500 ish twitter followers and 10k instagram followers....he's not active on either, hasn't posted in 6months+ except to attack me.

I tried to report him but nothing happened. I was thinking of reporting him from multiple accounts, do I need different IPs or no? Also was going to try to make a fake of him, and report him from the fake, and get a bunch of other people to report him. Would instagram just ban him after a certain number of reports or would they really look into it and see my picture posts were after his and not do anything to him?

Or any other ideas? He's really driving me nuts

Just block him on both networks. With that, he won't be able to see your stuff unless he logs out (assuming your account is public) or unless he uses another account which in that case he still won't be able to comment or directly retweet your stuff.

I too have a customer of mine, regular too, who irritates me no end every time he needs to buy from me. I am a reseller, and he says he wants 10-12 quantities of a particular product from me. It's a beautiful product, but this man then asks 100001 questions and demands 1 billion more qualities in them, and as well asks me to guarantee every small bit of those demands... it is his way to get a refund just in case, and tie me up with words... although I have never received a single complaint from my other buyers, this is one huge PITA customer... impossible chap!

The product itself is one of the best designs, colors, overall quality one can find in the entire country for that category (it's an apparel), but this bugger asks about exact things which are impossible to make, especially considering that I am just a reseller and not the manufacturer and so I don't have any control over the manufacturing processes involved, thought the manufacturer is a great friend and an honest businessman too, and for generations they have accumulated great honor and reputation as manufacturers in that line.

Thousand times I feel like ditching this customer for good and giving him a real dirty piece of my mind, but of course with silent curses, I tell him that what he asks is impossible to manufacture because there are countless genuine hurdles in fulfilling his demands and that it would become unaffordable even to the king of the land, and I tell him what to do in nicest way (to get from his local sources, if there are any, and get it done 1000% right if possible). I lose the bulk order, but then again after 2-3 days he will be back with other order. So that's that! He only gets what's possible for me to give him, and not the other way around. For me, he is important still, but not a life saver for me or my business at all. I ignore the lost sale, and move on to help others in my new business.

Point is: you get those shit types, very often too, in your life and business. You handle them, not them handle you is the whole point (You be in absolute control of the nerves, even if it means losing a small wad of money, but you don't lose your peace, your cool!).
