I see that it can take days or weeks to get to 1000 followers. I've read about following users from big accounts, but I don't get why and what big accounts to follow from.

No need to be a follower whore and throwing a ton of shit at the wall to see what sticks is just a shotgun method. No targeting, no thought put in to it. It's an old, tired method that usually returns very little reward.

So you want people to follow you?
Why do you want them to follow you?
When you have these followers what is your intention?
I assume that you don't want a ton of followers just for the bragging rights?
I assume you have some kind of plan to turn your effort in to some kind of reward?

@shezboy good reply. It actually is for bragging rights, but you're right that it may not make much sense. If I choose the free followers niche with CPA offers, how can I incentivize them to follow me?

Grabbing a ton of followers for bragging rights won't turn in to cash when you start posting CPA offers. If you have made no connection with them that makes you stand out in their minds then you can't expect them to want to click your CPA offer posts/updates.

You want people to follow you because they noticed you and not just because you followed them. They most likely followed you back out of politeness rather than you standing out as someone they wanted to follow because you interest them.

Someone will follow if you get their attention and you make a connection with them. There are a lot of ways of doing this and standing out from the crowd is one of them even if that is by being controversial. If you want to incentive people to follow you then you need to give them that incentive.

I don't know your niche but if it was dogs then put up a site where you can post content about dogs but for the sake of all things holy don't be just another dog site with stock pics of dogs that are boring along with generic dog articles. Who wants to read that boring trash? No, seriously, who does?

As a dog owner I want to read more about that tweet you made about how a certain brand of dog treats has been linked to possible long term health problems for my dog. I mean, fuck, I don't want to poison my dog. No sane person does so I want to know more about that Tweet you made earlier about this subject and I'll click that link to your site where you're gonna tell me about it.

Find information that people want to know about/should know about. Do a bit of research on your niche and find dig out the stories that concern people. Think click bait. Google and FB may have turned against it but, for now, Twitter hasn't.

Tweet the controversial click bait stuff and people will share it. Tweet it at people who matter in your niche to reach more people by leveraging the person you tweeted to (mentioned).

You'll build a following, you'll build a reputation, you'll get targeted traffic to your site and from your site you can monetise it with what ever offers you want.

Will you do this overnight? No, of course not but if you grabbed a ton of followers for bragging rights over night you'll never make a penny from them.

@shezboy thanks so much for your replies. How should I do it if my niche is free followers? Would I comment on others' tweets about free followers sites? How would I monetize that? I chose free followers because of the $50/day Instagram method in the Making Money forum.

Hi, I haven't read that thread yet although I have seen it popping up a few times. Off the top of my head I am not sure how to monetise a 'free followers' niche so I am thinking as I type.

So, they want a ton of followers for free? So they are looking for low cost methods that give instant results (or very fast results). These people sound like they fit the 'shiny new thing' market where they are always looking for the next push button, zero effort, offering. The first thing that springs to mind is to promote pretty much every WSO that comes out :)

I've not had time to give this answer too much thought so there's more options that than but it's the first thing that came to mind in this scenario.

@shezboy what if I choose the IM niche? I changed my Twitter account for it. I have 5XX followers. I have another post about that.
