    Is there a site that will tell you what your referrer will look like to networks?

    Go to your cpanel, click on view referrers, and you should see what it would look like. Or go to google analytics and check it out.

    Or you can just put up a script on a webserver with the following:

    PHP:
    <?php echo 'Referer is: ' $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?>
    Then go there.

    @ clark - what do I do with that site? Put it on my site and then visit the link and see what comes up?

    @ splurgoth - thanks, but I don't quite know how to do all that yet.

    You use that in place of your aff link when testing. It will tell you the referrer (AKA what the AM will see on his dashboard)

    My affiliate links are in the form of banners on a site.. wait.. So if I have my affiliate link on a site with it's own domain, it will look like traffic is coming from there. Can my network tell if traffic coming to my domain is coming from CL??

    lol thinking out loud.. I am new to CPA and trying to get this all figured out before all my accounts are banned.

    Well, first. If you've already posted on CL with your aff link then no reason to even keep working on the account.

    Second, so, you have your banners on your WH site... So would you need the traffic to look like it's coming from your WH site right? Right.

    Now, you just need a way of making a special link from your WH site to give your BH clients to redirect to your home page on your WH site THEN to your afflink, right? Right...

    If you need anymore help:

    All explained in detail on what you have to do.

    You could also do this with Prosper202.

    You can also check referrer stats on any directtrack networks (marketleverage, copeac, clickbooth to name a few),
    View stats --> click on banner stats 'view' button (on the right), and you are then given a referrer/click breakdown.

    Cheers
