I need to migrate site to new domain, the current domain is ranking well for my targeted keywords but for some reason i need to move site to new domain.

The problem is site made in ASP.NET, and i'm still not sure how i can work with htaccess migration into ASP.NET, as we dont have anything like htaccess into iss.

Can anyone suggest me est et to migrate or somthing i can do similar to htaccess mod rewrite.

    Help Appreciated.

You're only changing the domain but keeping .aspx at the end of the URLs right?

Google something like "htaccess to web.config".

In IIS, web.config is somewhat similar to Apache's .htaccess, but it's not a full analogue of it. So, there is a need to use conversion tools.

Google for htaccess to web.config converter

    Then paste this code

    RewriteEngine On

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)domain\.com$ [NC]
    RewriteRule ^ http://newdomain.com%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

Use the output and paste in your web.config of your ISS server. As simple as that.
