using my private proxies? Is there a way? I can check if its blacklisted, but is there a way to check "privateness" of the proxy other than just trust my provider?

Change your default password provided. This should ensure that your the only one using it

When buying proxies, u pick ur own username and pw most of the time, no matter if there private or shared. So I doubt changing the pw will do this. Chances are ur "private" proxies are probably being shared.

You can't unless you had admin/root access to the proxies. If you did, you'd be able to look at the connections list and see if others are using it.

Changing your own username and password will not effect other clients because proxy provider can provide proxies to many clients with different usernames and passwords or can provide IP authorized proxies (in this case many clients will authorize their own IP to use the same proxy if the proxy is shared).

    * After you purchase proxies do a check with a proxy checker tool like Scrapebox or GSA + SPAM blacklist check then if they pass all tests successfully + if the proxies can maintain stability and speed then in most cases they are dedicated proxies.

It depends on the use case of your proxies. I was once a client of a proxy supplier who is considered respectable on these forums. I found out that my dedicated proxies are actually shared because the service that I used them for actually pointed out that I am not the only one using those proxies. I won't mention who this "respected" company is though. But the moral of the story, it is possible they are shared even if you are buying them from a bigger proxy supplier. I would in fact say that your odds are better with a smaller supplier since they are more likely to have a batch of unused proxies.

If proxy works good for your purpose then continue simply else **** that Ip :d

Though for user end not possible to check that unless you have special access like above user told.
