Hey guys, I read these forums quite a bit but don't post very often. Anyways, I was wondering how an affiliate can go about tracking their conversions without being able to place a conversion pixel on any confirmation page.

I want to advertise my new gambling site on exoclick, but I have a huge problem that I've never encountered before. How can you track sales when you are unable to place a pixel on any confirmation page?

Obviously, I am going to want to track the number of conversions coming from each placement in exoclick so that I can block the underperformers. Is there a way that this is possible? I am not using any big affiliate program like commission junction that might offer some feature like this. The two I am using are Bet365 and commission.bz. Any help at all on this problem would be ever so greatly appreciated. Cheers!

EDIT: A sale in this case would be a person that signs up and creates an account for one of the online casinos. Currently, I can only track clicks.

    Hi Martman

The answer depends on the available features provided in the affiliate programs.

Option 1) Use server to server tracking (https://www.exoclick.com/faq/api-server-server-tracking/) to pass back to ExoClick the conversions without the need of pixel. That we'll allow affiliate to see in ExoClick's panel from which campaign and site the conversions has been generated.

Make sure the the affiliate programs bet365 and http://commission.bz/ are supporting Server to server tracking for this option.

Option 2) Make use of the macros (https://www.exoclick.com/faq/dynamic-tokens-or-tags/), to pass site name or other parameters in the affiliate panels.

In this case the affiliate panels should provide some fields in their panels where affiliate can send the macro value.

    Hey SafeSEO,

I'm not sure if I am able to pass subids. I searched the affiliate faqs for information on this but did not see it. Is this a question for my affiliate manager? Or is there a way by looking at the affiliate link that it can be determined whether or not this is possible?

You should reach out to your affiliate manager for those offers. In general it should be there as this is standard in industry

My affiliate manager at Bet365 just got back to me and said that their affiliate links do not support sub id pass through. Does this mean it won't be possible for me to track conversions for Bet365? The other affiliate manager for commission.bz hasn't replied yet but I noticed while poking through the dashboard that there is a feature called ACID tracking. Could this be what I need to use?
