    Greetings Fellow Mad-Hatters!

So I've been working the last couple days on getting a FB fan page to go viral, with the ultimate goal of monetizing it by trickling out CPA links mixed with regular posts (and maybe some CPA stuff in boxes or elsewhere in the tabs).

I've thrown a lot of shit at the wall and nothing has stuck until now...it looks like I've got something that's about to go big.

My dilemma is that, instead of some mindless page like "I hate crumbs in bed" or whatever, my page is for "a cause" (environmental, animal rights, free political prisoners in Malaysia -- you get the drift).

I personally don't really care about the cause, but am stoking the emotional flames of my fans as they join. I know this thing has great potential if I can gather an army, work them into a frenzy, and drive them to put cash in my wallet...

So here's my question - if you were in a similar boat, how would you try to monetize? CPA? Sell T-Shirts? Link to a WP Blog on the topic with a "Support the Cause" PayPal button?

I've already registered the associated domain and twitter page, so I've got the foundation in place. Now I just need some idea of what to do with it all.

Thanks in advance, BHW, for any input you may have!

    ~PF

Would you actually be donating any money at all, or banking it all?

I'm trying to figure that part out. I was thinking I'd donate a fraction to a related legit organization, and maybe even go so far as to do a mass paper-mailing with a letter of thanks to donors and contact info for their political representatives.

Ok, here we go, Im probably shooting myself in the foot.

Get tons of incent offers from networks. Explain, preferably in a video, that for each incent offer they fill in money will be donated to xxx cause.

Make a list of CPA offers, and say you have xxx submit paying $1 you will donate 50 cents and keep 50 for yourself.

    ex.

Get a free Laptop - Complete this and 50 cents will be donated to the Chubbychasers foundation

You could mix it up with other stuff, Pay per download (non spyware tho) etc etc.

Then every week/month show a video of you donating that said money to said foundation.

Lastly you could make a donate button and donate 100%, just cause you dont fuck with karma.

Might take a while to set off, but imagine the possibilities.
I mean this shit could get featured on Oprah or Tyra, shit goes viral.
