We have google adsense on our site, 2 media ads are displayed on every page. The site has gotten 217 views today so far. 0 clicks (to be expected) and im sure a large percentage of those people had adblock.

So what are other montenizing opportunities? is adsense really the last ditch effort for trying to collect money? What else is a legitimate way to pay the bills?

Depends on your niche really. If your content is interesting enough, you can try content locking (adscendmedia, blamads, bee4biz, etc. or content locker pro if you are willing to invest some money). If you can provide some interesting downloads you could try pay per download services (sharecash, fileice, uploadpay, etc.). You can search for some niche-related e-book on clickbank and promote it on your site. If your site is about physical products, then amazon affiliate is a good choice, promoting related products ofcourse.

It is a technology news site. We do not sell anything. I do not want to use paid links like adfly, that is extremely unprofessional.

If its the site in your sig that those stats are coming from, you might want to try text ads instead of images only. I refreshed your site 3 times and 3 times, the ads weren't very relevant.

Im not sure why. I disabled adblock and they always seem relevant to me.

just looked and actually one was a capitol one which isn't that relevant.

    What will text ads change?
