How are you being tracked by websites

I wanted to make a test to check if i am being tracked by websites if they can figure out that i am the same person or not, i created shortened link and went to click on this link by myself to see how it goes so, i created two profiles on an anti-detected browser, used 4g proxy, clicked on the link through the first profile browser and it counts, went to the second browser profile and rotated the proxy but it didn't count as a click. so, my question is what else should be used other than an anti-detected browser and 4g proxy? how these websites are able to identify that you are the same person?

User fingerprints, screen resolution - all of these creates a profile. Use TAILS - an operating system in combination with Anti-detect browser and 4G Mobile Proxies and you'll be good to go.
